Default Is Two Days Enough for the National?

Hello everyone,

I'm going to my first National this weekend. Is two full/partial days enough to comprehensively peruse the dealer/corporate tables? Wondering if three days is overkill?

James - IMO, 2 days is plenty.
Enjoy!

James- To me, it depends. If you have narrowed down what you are searching for to cards from 5-6 sets in pre-war, you can do it in 2 days. If you are looking at all pre-war cards and want to see if you might have interest in memorabilia, etc. also, I think it'll take 3 to completely search.

James - Keep in mind that some dealers start packing up before the show ends on Sunday.

I planning to go from 12-6 P on Friday and 10A - 6P on Saturday. I am a focused collector, but also like shiny freebies. I have a dealer pass, so I can avoid waiting in lines to enter. Looking for 1930s oddball cards. Two days is enough?

James,

I was just here at the show from four to eight o'clock and will return for full day tomorrow, and yes I think that will be more than enough. Enjoy!

Just got home after enjoying dinner with Alan (JC), Ken Cohen, Mark Evans, Andrew and Dad, Rich Klein, and others - thanks Alan for suggesting it.

My 1st day at my 1st National and my 1st impression was I need at least a week to really see everything and meet/talk to old friends (this is a "local" show for me) and new.

Regards all - Will
