Default WTT: T206 SGC for The Doors CD Box Set SOLD!

I would like to trade this 7 CD Box Set of The Doors Complete Studio Recordings for a 50 -60 SGC graded T206. I was going to list it on ebay and then use the proceeds for a card purchase but figured I'd thow it out there and see if the fish were biting. CD's are like new and included all inserts and booklet. Again, I hope this isn't too weird of an offer. If so, feel free to delete this posting.

Trading The Doors for a T206...people sure are strange.

How many more of these puns can we come up with? It's probably endless.

Well Tony, I'll "walk the thin line" for you in regards to a response. It is obvious that you are trying to build a baseball card "Empire" with your trade request. Well, "I'll be the best I can" in regards to crafting a response.

First time visitors to Net54 who view your thread might think, "People are strange" for posting such a request. But then they will think about the request and "Tell All the People" about this great idea.

Personally, I was glad to see the request. The love of my life, "Maggie M'Gill" left me last night..for a woman from LA. I was pretty upset so "I was going to the roadhouse to have a real good time" but they didn't open for a few more hours. But, with time to kill before the bar opened, I thought of a woman in my office, I think her name is "Della Brown," who is quite cute so I might pursue her.

Do you think it would be too forward if I walked up to her and said, "Hello, I love you won't you tell me your name?"

Concerning the trade of the boxvset, I'll take "5 to 1" odds that you don't find any takers.

'Moonlight Drive' is my favorite song by them, and I'm pretty sure he borrowed 'Sea of Love' for inspiration.

Default Great Job

I wonder if I would be as successful as you trying to trade my Bee Gees Greatest Hits album (and as an extra bonus, an 8-track of BJ Thomas) for a T205

r/
Frank

edit: I was kidding, please no offers as I am not looking to part with my 8-track.

I think we're all curious. What was the final deal that you struck for the box set?

Default What I Got

I got cash from a local Disc Replay and used the money to purchase a T206 SGC 50 Jack Quinn. I only received 1 serious offer, but it came after I had already sold it.

Would you say that "you did the best with what you had?"

What you need to do now is like what the red paper clip guy did and turn the Doors Box-Set (Alabama Song is very underrated) and keep going until you reached some insane goal.

Didn't someone try that with a 1952 Topps Mantle card a while back? Anyone got the site that followed his trades?

Not many of us around to say it in this Lady Gaga world, but Queensryche still rules!

Hi Tony,

I noticed in the beginning of this thread that you were facing some "Resistance", but I'm glad that "The Mission" of trading your CD set for a T206 is now complete.
