If nobody wants Bucky I will be taking our annual trip to downtown Chicago for the Christmas season and would be happy to show him the lights and shop windows on State street as well as the Christmas market they have set up in Daley Plaza. I wont be doing that intil mid December but if he doesnt get a better offer...well i will take him.

FYI...large ass is currently at sgc getting entombed for safe keeping.

I'm a little shocked no-one has expressed interest in taking him on a trip...I will be going to costa rica jan 20th...and will take him with me there...so he will be again available for travel in early feb.

I have already enjoyed his company once, but we may be going somewhere in Feb. I'd love to have him along. BTW, you will enjoy Costa Rica. We enjoyed everything, but the Zipline with my daughter was one of those things that will always make me smile. it is an amazing time to go to Costa Rica. Cheap, safe, very Americanized.

Great idea and would be proud to display him at our table. The Net54baseball dinner is still being decided on but if we have one again (we probably will) maybe Bucky can join us for food and drinks?

Well played.

It takes the fun out of it not knowing if the card will fall a part when someone takes it out of the case now.

Too bad we can't get something like "Net54 Large Ass Herzog Chain Trade" on it for posterity. 50 years from now that card might have accrued a significant historical value within the hobby. Look out Wagner, LAH's stock is rising.

But I don't suppose he needs a label, he is immediately recognizable without it. The one and only.

Did we abandon the quest for all 50 state capitol buildings? I'd still like to take him up to the tower of the Nebraska State Capitol...could be a very quick trip as there's not much to see in Nebraska.

When Bucky gets slabbed, does that mean he's now ready to swim with the sharks?

I definitely lost a few fragments of Buck in Turkey...he is a frail MO FO!!!! I am a little surprised SGC is able to slab him...I'm still awaiting his return...didn't he already swim with the sharks...in the Indian Ocean? I wanna go!!!!

Whoever gets a photo of him in a shark cage swimming with great whites...will be my hero!!!!!

I'll have to pass on the shark cage but I'd be willing to get him to Ireland in July and also the statehouse in Columbus, OH.

Today Herzog went to Safeco Field to watch the Mariners play the Angels in a Turn Back The Clock Night (1955 PCL uniforms). He was able to see Albert Pujlos hit career HR #451.

Default Herzog's Assault Suspect

Haven't read the whole thread, but if large ass hasn't been to Wisconsin, I could show him a thing or two. I currently have a squirrel trapped, who could be responsible for the right border of the card. Let me know.

The squirrel is currently being held in solitary confinement and may not survive until the trial, because I haven't been able to find an attorney to defend the squirrel. Most of my neighbors in Northern Wisconsin have four legs or fins, accoutrements not shared by any of our attorneys.

I would post a photo of the prisoner, but I do not want to compromise the local jury pool with pretrial publicity. Nor do I want to draw attention to my Guantanamo of the North for obvious reasons.

Here is "Large Ass" Herzog at the home of the Anchorage Bucs.

He then traveled to Fairbanks to the home of the Alaska Goldpanners. This photo was taken just before BP prior to the 107th MidNight Sun Game.

Herzog then made the trip across country to Pittsburgh, where I reunited him with Honus Wagner. He did not have much to say to Wagner, I think that he was a little jealous as to how much attention his T206 card gets.
