Default Major Auction House Material - 5-10 Years Ago Vs. Today

Posted By: Dan Bretta

It's fun to go back through my catalog collection to the 1990s and see all the spectacular items that were offered up....it does seem to me that much of what comes up today is recycled from the last 4 or so years and that much of that stuff in the 90s has never seen the light of day. The new stuff that does seem to be hitting the market is coming from the families of former players.

Cards really seem to recycle where memorabilia is often a one and done deal.
