I'm working on an article for Old Cardboard on the set. I expect to be done by the end of the summer-- it'll be a few months before it sees the light of day. In the meantime email me with any questions you have.

Hi Paul,

There's nothing like receiving a stack of 66 raw tobacco cards in the mail.
The cards were pulled out of an album so they have some back problems, but overall it's a great group.

There was no list of the players offered in the ebay auction either so it was kind of fun to go through them and see who was there.

I've always been interested in these cards, but kind of had them on the back burner. For years I've had a few, but never added to them until the past couple of weeks.

Look forward to slowly chipping away at this one.

I emailed the guy for a list and never heard back. How many 300 series were in the lot, if any?

he sent me a list-- they weren't any, as I remember. Not even many of the uncommon lower cards.
