This 1954 Willie Mays is a card that I've always thought had a lot of character. I've even thought about sending for grading to give the graders a laugh. By the way, I paid $1.00 for it!

Dan,

Those are horrible looking Wagners.

I have no idea why you would keep them in your collection.

I would help you rid yourself of those ugly things if you wanted me to.
Thats the kind of friend I am.

Regards,
Joe

It would of been a lot easier decision, if it were "most valuable card that IS NOT beat up."

Kevin - that is especially hilarious coming from you. I laughed out loud when I read it.

writing on the front and back of this card.... just disgusting.
who would do such a thing?

and here is another with two vertical creases and more writing!
I guarantee the grading companies wouldn't even grade this one.....

Not the prettiest, but I like it!

Glad to back collecting again after an 11 month hiatus and fire sale of most of my collection.

Gotta few D311's that have been beaten like a redheaded stepchild, but I'll go with this fellow.

Not a fan of the PSA float around in a baggy presentation. Clyde doesn't dig being crooked.

Not my most valuable, nor even close to my most beat up. But a winning combination of both--it makes most of the cards posted on this thread look like pretty boys.

Not extremely valuable but somewhat hard to find (V96, Canadian Butterfinger/OPC). I picked up Gomez and Dickey (similar condition) for a dollar each.
