Default Help Needed W/ E254 Colgans Chips

Posted By: Jeff Kennedy

I am compiling what I believe to be the Chicago Cubs master set checklist and these are the players that I am coming up with. Please feel free to correct any mistakes (additions/subtractions), as I am not certain of this list. Also please feel free to post some scans of the ones that you have as I am sure that I have not seen them all. This set is new to me so thanks for any help that you can provide.

Archer
Beaumont
Bresnahan
Chance
Evers
Hofman
Howard
Kling
Mitchell
Overall
Pfeister
Reulbach
Schulte
Sheckard
Steinfeldt
Tinker
Zimmerman

Edited to add list of players

The following are errors on your list:
Archer is found only in E270 Tin Tops (not E254), Bresnahan is found for Chicago only in E270 Tin Tops, Howard is for Louisville in E254, Kling is not found in E254, Mitchell (Chicago) is in the E270 Tin Tops set.

-Rhett

many of the Chicago guys can be seen on my website:

As Rhett mentioned previously, Roger Bresnahan is listed with St. Louis in the E254 "Stars of the Diamond" set.

Here's the scan from my collection:

I have noticed a lot of activity, both on eBay and the B/S/T threads with the 3 Colgan Chip sets, since the recent Tin Tops have come to market.
