Default Didrikson Vs. Didrickson Spelling

Posted By: Mike

Anyone know why Babe Didrickson/Didrikson's name is spelled differently all over the internet (including her 1933 Goudey Sport Kings card)? It seems that the spellings are almost interchangable. Anyone know if there is a story behind this or which way she spelled her own name?

According to wikipedia, "her surname was changed to reflect the Norwegian spelling of her name instead of the Swedish spelling."

How difficult is it to find '33 Goudey Sport King Babe Dedrickson cards. What are the most difficult cards to find in this set.

Besides the '33 SK, there's another Babe D. card that I find very appealing, I saw it at last year's National, but don't remember the issue. Anyone have any Babe D. scans?
