My Memory Lane winnings came in yesterday. The 1900 Pirates cabinet looks great in hand. Thank you Ryan for making it available!

Picked up another signed photo of Mick, a 1967 Dexter Press premium. I don't think PSA has authenticated any of these.

Fresh off the UPS truck!

I looked for the blank back Collins for years when I did his back run in 2008-11, and finally landed it, unfortunately the rest all got sold.

Brown Lenox Merkle, as I doubt I’ll see a HOFer I can land, plus you can’t have a T206 group without a card of Fred mixed in.

I’ve always wanted a W600, but I’ll settle for a T3.

Also, super happy (and a little surprised, with my luck) that these two weren’t Shanghai’d at the Bestern Western Plus.

Happy collecting,
Bob

Cool card Leon. Dick Siebert is a legend in Minnesota. The "Chief" was the head coach for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers for decades, managing among others Dave Winfield and Paul Molitor. He's in the College Baseball HOF and they named the baseball field after him. His son Paul made it to the bigs and is part of a 1975 Topps Rookie Pitchers card. Great score!

My best mailday of the year so far - crossed off one of my big collecting goals for the year which was to acquire a 54 Hank rookie

Untitled by Dylan Boll, on Flickr

A little overshadowed by the Hank, but a sharp 57 Brooks Robinson RC also arrived today from a trade!

Kind of a cool Willie Mays item. Program for his 1951 (early season) Minneapolis Millers. Photo of him as a Miller signed by Wlllie, certified etc. Now the bonus: Heritage did not mention or try to ID the other two players but the legend on the left, as I know, is.... Ray Dandridge. He hit .324 that year but famously never did get called up by Giants, which has become a famous lamentation....greatest player to never get the call....

Thanks Chuck! Hope you're well.
Won another one in REA (for a great price). We have 7 Hofmans now.

Yep. 100% real. I block out the cert and grade most of the time when posting publicly. the cards can speak for themselves w/o some grader’s (especially PSA) opinion. In my opinion, the mays is undergraded while the Williams is overgraded.

It's rare that I get to participate in this monthly thread, but I made some fun recent deals with my California friend Mike and his extensive PCL inventory, and also Sports Artifacts. To keep on topic with pre-war, a John "Monk" Sherlock Zeenut that I am told completed my 1933 sepia Hollywood Stars team set. Also, a nice selection of 1948 Signal Gasoline Oakland Oaks, in beautiful color photography 5 years before Bowman. Don't get too excited, though, because.... they're all trimmed! But, the 9 includes Casey Stengel, Billy Martin, and Ernie Lombardi!
