Default Foreign Issued Cards

Recently, I have been going through some of my collection and came across a few cards I really like that you don't see often.

Was looking for a post from some time ago featuring foreign issued cards, but couldn't find it.

So, I figured I would start a new post to highlight cards not of American origin!

Feel free to show your favorites!

My contribution:

1926-27 Aguilitas Oms
1931 Cigarrera Bigott Pedro San
1951 Arte y Deportes Wild Bill Wright

Some of mine:

From the Great White North

From Japan (excuse the modern era but he's an all time player):

And though not technically "foreign" these are from outside the mainland:

Some slimmed down (should have big ass borders) V100 Willard's Chocolate cards from Canastada, that great playing card nation north of most of us.

Brian (included card of Leibold to show a V100 with 4 borders, as issued. Now that I think about it, V100 cards should have only been issued with a bottom border, as the United States is the only country that Canastada shares a border)

Canada, of course, is the source of the best foreign-issued cards!

Gary: the Gehrig is from the 1964 Penafiel (a soda brand) set.

If you will indulge a brief foray into other sports, these are from Israel:

Pele

For Net54 members, Sanella pretty much means 'Stichwort Ruth'.

Brian (the German word 'stichwort' translates to 'cue')
