Default Suspicious Cabinet Identifications - Boxing Edition

This Patsy Cardiff just sold: https://www.ebay.com/itm/13456352137...Bk9SR9iky5eAYg

He's also selling Billy Edwards and Joe Goss cabinets among others (with baseballers and celebrities for much more). Has an amazing James J. Corbett listed, of a gentleman who has the same haircut as Corbett.

This photograph of a duo is listed as Jim Hall and Bob Fitzsimmons.

A little suspicious of these identifications!

Where's the smacking your head against the wall emoji when you need it?

Horrible! Every one of them.

I've got a tupperware bin full of unidentified boxing photos I can't figure out. This guy would probably have them all figured out by the end of the business day for me.

That Corbett is hilarious.

Hair of Corbett

Nose of Honus Wagner

Ears of Red Grange

Eyes and forehead of Emilio Estevez

and

The sloping shoulders of Emily Blunt

Though he definitely got his tie at the big boy tie shop.

I mean, I think JFK Jr. looks more like the actual Corbett, then that fella on the Cabinet card being sold on Ebay.

The Corbett is my favorite; it’s not even remotely close. It’s funny, but someone paid for the “Patsy Cardiff” and just got ripped off. This has got to be the laziest scam in card land these days, at least trimmers go to some effort

Yes I also question the Hall/Fitzsimmons, because of the size difference.
Hall was listed 6' 1" as and BF as 5' 11.5".

I don't think you even need to get that far; it simply isn't the guys named. The only thing that would have been more absurd is if the photo had shown two black guys labeled as Hall and Fitz. Though as sleazy as this seller is, I wouldn't be surprised to see that. Of course, the listing for that one will probably say "Mike Tyson and Jack Johnson."

You guys are tripping. Look at the photo. See the man with his back to the camera? Notice how the skin of his neck also creases when in that pose, just like Fitzsimmons’ neck? It must be Fitzsimmons!

Jollyrodgersrelics is a dirtbag scammer. There is no way he can be so stupid as to genuinely think these are who he says they are.
