Default What did you win? T206 Carolina Brights in Central Mass Auctions

Couldn't be happier I won the Titus Carolina Brights. Would love to hear/see what everyone else purchased. It would be nice if I could figure out how to upload the image here but apparently it is above my pay grade.

I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.

Just checked - 1 of only 4 PSA graded and as a new grade likely nicer than the 2 - 4's graded higher. Wow.

I won 4 commons. 2 fours and 2 twos. The Speaker was insane. I bid on it for awhile, then it went crazy with 2 guys going head to head. It was a fast paced auction. Glad to grab 4.

Yup. I was one of those two guys. Ultimately, I felt that $30k+ was too much for that card and I backed off. I hope the guy who won it, chokes on it! No, congrats to the dude who is dumber than I!!

Amazing results. Super strong prices

You are going to get a reputation as a card hog!

On a serious note - sorry you didn't win it - would've looked great in your collection. Really hard to gauge a card like that with both condition and rarity!

Outside of a few, I thought prices weren't so high.

I won a few - was really happy with the prices as I was focused on the lower pop cards.

Jack Dunn PSA 5: $4500 (Pop 1, None Higher, Only 3 total graded)
Jack Quinn PSA 4: $3500 (Pop 1, None Higher, Only 2 total graded)
Jack Hannifan PSA 4: $3000 (Pop 1, None Higher)
Bill Burns PSA 4: $2500 (Pop 2, None Higher)
Billy Campbell PSA 4: $2500 (Pop 2, None Higher)
Frank Oberlin PSA 2.5: $1700 (Pop 1, 1 Higher [although the higher one is a PSA 4Q], Only 4 total graded)

I also picked up the Mantle Bowman RC PSA 1. Was quite surprised it sold for $3500 (obviously there are fees on top of this).

Very happy with my pickups. I'm not even a T206 collector, but really like the rarity of the Carolina Brights cards.

I went as far as I could on Anderson, Blackburne, and Lavender. Two went for $3K and the other $2400, not counting bp, tax, and shipping.

Happy to add the Easterly CB to my CLE team set. Now 22 different backs out of 25 cards! Pretty sure that's the most possible with the available combinations. PSA 4.5 is a strong grade. Maybe too strong! Might look to downgrade this one to fit my set but it may be too nice to let go.

Default Central Mass Carolinas auction

Congrats to all who won! I liked the Strang quite a bit but lost. I did end up
with a nice 1950 Bowman Ted Williams SGC 3. My logic was that a card like it,
may slide under the radar due to all the Carolinas focus. Great cards!

Thanks to all who participated. I am very happy these cards have made there way to those who really appreciate them. It was a fun ride from raw to garded to auctions. Jeff Weisenberg
