Default To All The Cards I've Owned...b4"

Was just looking at old pics on my laptop...I used to be a collector who never...ever sold. Times change and cards get more expensive and you just cant have everything you want...at least I can't. So I sold to buy other stuff.
Boy did I get rid of some cards at the wrong time! But I look at what I replaced them with and from an investment standpoint have at least kept up.

Here are a few I wish I kept!

If that's an e122 Ruth that's an amazing card. One of my favorite Babe Ruth cards.

Nice group of cards Pete, are the ones with the "X's" through them the ones you've sold?

I feel ya Pete. I sold off a bunch in 07 bc I was laid off due to the recession. I would kill to have these back in my collection again:
- t206 red Cobb PSA3
- t206 Young Port PSA3
- t206 Bresnahan Port - sovereign SGC40
- e95 Wagner SGC2
- E95 Cobb SGC3
- E95 Matty fair
- E96 Mack autographed

To name a few.

But, at the time food and mortgage were more important 😁

Now I’m selling some off to fund a key card I wanted to fill bc I sold one in 07. Full circle.

It’s fun for me regardless. The ups and downs, the near misses and the great finds.

Thanks to all on this board! You’re amazing folks.

Bill

Don’t really sell much but I sold a grouping in 2009 that included:
OJ Old Hoss Radbourn
Mayos Kid Nichols
E97 Cy Young
And I auctioned a E107 Eddie Plank in 2018 that went for well below what it should have.
Those are my regret cards.
