I got this T206 HOFer on the cheap because of minor paper loss on the back and a low technical grade.

So weird, I get this feeling that you might be a Mantle fan.

Nice set Matty, including one of the most underrated cards IMO, 54 WF Williams.

Yup just a little bit of a Mick fan. (I'm stuck in the Yankee past as the present is too painful LOL.) Planning to actually prune my Mick doubles soon so as to get some diversity in the collection. 54 WF Ted is a fave. My young son's too; he calls it "the hot dog Ted Williams" and it is one card I can tell will be in the fam for a long time.

Tell your son it's the only known photo of Teddy Ballgame fouling off a wiener. He'll keep it forever.

This has an issue on the back, but the front is pretty good.

I've seen worse cards in "5" and "6" holders than that Cobb. Maybe that's a thread idea..."Oops, I bought the slab not the card"

It has a paper rub on upper right border, kind of perfect place to have it!

Really, most of my graded cards fit this description. The 53 Bowman Rizzuto/Martin has some transparent glue on the back, but otherwise is beautiful, the 33 Goudey Hoyt has a surface wrinkle, and the Pennock has paper loss on the back. Sometimes you have to be thankful for the absurdities of grading, because otherwise these cards would have been a lot more expensive.

Centered 50 bowman with good color? Clearly a fake. I'm only doing this cuz I like you, but send it over and I'll dispose of it ethically before it contaminates the rest of your collection.
