Default Are there less T206s on the market these days?

Just curious what others are finding. Obviously prices have bumped up but it seems that the inventory for sale on various websites has dropped off in Q1 2021.

I agree seems like there are fewer listings, I get a daily count of new t206's added to ebay and the count is way down. People are holding vintage.

I agree. I’m getting less and less hits these days.

Yes, especially the mid grade and up T206's of Cobb/Matty/Johnson/Young are seldom seen lately. That's why I was so thrilled to see a few in the new REA Auction - will get a better idea of current market value. I am having a hard time accepting the fact I may have to dip into lower grades if I want any more of the T206 Big Boys.

Thanks all. Agree. I am building a set of 4s or higher and it just seems harder to find them this year. Especially in off backs. Now last year there was some larger and diverse back collections on the market, Hall etc so maybe that’s a part of it.

Collectors are surely holding on to what they have. Nobody wants to regret selling when prices continue to rise. Lelands is ending tonight and there look to be some pretty strong prices. And those are mostly lower grade.

Don’t see many nice T206 Cobb’s out there.
