WOW...I love all these...so very cool. I love the 67 Koufax and the 75 Kaline, two that would make my list.

My list of cards I wish were made, and some I do own fantasy cards and have put them into the back of my binders, but still would have been cool if originally done -

1957 Topps Harmon Killebrew
1966 Topps Steve Carlton
1963 Fleer Mickey Mantle
1963 Fleer Pete Rose
1976 Topps Harmon Killebrew
1954 & 55 Topps Mantle

There are others already mentioned...but the 57 Killebrew being a big fan is the biggest what if. Someone here made a cool fantasy card I printed up myself and made copies, but if there were ever a real fantasy card I'd be buying...

I lost out on the first Banty Red Garvey that I was aware of...hopefully 1 or more comes around again someday.

Phil- I'm very pleased with this one you made of my cousin:

I'd love to see him in his White Sox and / or Indian unis.

- and how about '55 Bowman and Topps of Herb Score?

I really like the Hal!
The Jackie Robinson is well colored. He would need to be with the Giants. I just couldn't bring myself to do it...

Yes Bob Lemke made one that way, which I have. The more I see it, the less I liked it.
I followed the words of Adam Savage "I reject your reality and substitute my own", therefore, he was never a Giant.

Beautiful job. I'm guessing the portrait part of the card took inspiration from the 1954 Red Heart? 1955 Kills me, I'm not a huge fan of the Bowman Set on the whole that year, I don't like the whole "TV Set" Design. I'm eventually going to have to pick it up because I don't think there are any alternatives though, and I need a Mantle from that year to complete one of my collecting goals.

Thank you! These are from earlier work. They are part of the Banty Red "Lost Series" or "Cards That Never Were"...there will be a new '55 Mantle later this year that is spectacular.
I hear you on the TV set. Funny thing is, while I loathed those for 40 years, a couple years ago I started to like them. Probably because I had ignored them for so long, the poses were fresh to me. I am just collecting the players I like so I'll compile about 100 of them. I added a Mantle last year and I really like it, Lol.
The '54 Red Heart may have inspired my subconsciously? I can't tell you what it looks like, honestly. There are so few photos of Mickey from '53 it's actually odd. Topps shot a ton (hat on, off, posed, swinging, in a chair, stadium background, spring, etc.) Bowman was like "we've got ONE day in spring and one day in Philly...let's rock!" So '53 photos to be used for 54's were in short supply, Lol.

Ted William 1952 Topps.Would have, could have, should have been. A good friend of mine wrote a few books with Ted Williams. But one of his first published articles was in a magazine. They sent him some of these promo sheets.I was fortune enough to get one and have it autographed by Mr. Williams. The 1952 Topps would have been an awesome card.
