I was surprised to be the initial bidder the day the auction opened, and win it with the one bid. I know the ink on the back should have resulted in a MK designation, but still, a really nice O'Hara, as far as I can see.

The ink doesn't bother me at all. It looks like the Polar Bear color of ink so to me it adds a little something.

Adam, the ink doesn't bother me either, but it should have been noted on the grade. I have cards with the tiniest pencil mark that got a "mk."

Nice O'Hara Ed. I can't tell from the scan but is it possible that it's an ink
blob from the printing. I've seen them on cards before.

Here's a Bell and chase with a few in the same place.

Thanks, Pat. It is a drop of ink, probably from a fountain pen. Period, but not original to the card.
