Default American Beauty Unopened Pack 1909/1910 Tax Stamp Factory 42 4th District

Hello everyone.

I bought this pack about 10-15 years ago because I thought it was reasonable at that time and had the "cool" factor! I never really did research on this pack and I'm curious if it could contain a card? I can't find another American Beauty pack that contains 15 cigarettes but everything else seems to add up compared to the other 10 count packs. I'm hoping the experts can chime in?!!

It would have to be from the correct year first. To know that we need to know if it has an ink overstamp on it. If it does have a correctly dated ink overstamp (not seen from the pics) then there is a possibility. I think it is a long, long shot of having a card.

I agree with Leon; plus the fact it's a 15-count soft pack makes the likelihood of a card even more remote. As of yet, there is no evidence cards were packed in soft pack configurations.

Default American Beauty Box

Looks like a soft pack. Can't really tell. Also, American Beauty packs came from Factory 25, 2nd District, VA.

I'm no expert but it appears that American Beauty 460 backs were indeed from Factory 42 4th district as seen in picture posted above.

I should have added that it's still a great pack! Thanks for sharing.

It is a soft pack. From what I've learned, there won't be a card in that pack.

Has anybody ever turned up a pack - any brand - with a t206 (or similar) still inside?

Default 2 stamps

It looks to me like there might be 2 tax stamps on the pack. You can see the top edge of the 2nd stamp sticking out underneath the first. I've never seen that before.

It's a soft pack because the shell is sealed on the back of the pack. A real shell was sealed on the side of the box. Also the shell is made of paper and not cardboard.
