Holy cow, Jeff, that's unreal. You can see blades of grass in the foreground. His hands look 3D!

Great pickup.

Graig Kreindler would have a field day with this one! Those fans in the back-ground and the signs are Graigs specialty!

My first two T206's. I'm a few steps into a long walk. Have had the Cobb for a while, but just got the Walsh.

Thanks Andy, the fever is setting in!

BTW - we need to get the Michigan group together again, but that's for another post. Were you at the B&H Auction last weekend?

Tiny paper loss on back and SGC decimated the grade. Oh well, I'm always happy to buy horizontals with nice fronts, especially when they can be purchased dirt cheap :-)

Great PC. Nice pickup.

I see Florsheim Shoes and then a train ad. Most likely Union Pacific? Says something about the California Sierras. Really neat photo. Don't see these every day.

Default T210 Set

Val - If the T206 set is The Monster, then the T210 set is The Behemoth. No comparison in terms of scarcity as I am sure you are aware.

Thank You Jeremy and Val.It has been a blast learning about the players, teams, and leagues in the time I have been putting this together so far.You have both been very helpful.Val with my first taste of the Red Borders with the Titman card and a few others and Jeremy with my first Orange Border.I have also met plenty of other great collectors along the way.I look forward to many more deals and learning what I can about this set through this site and the knowledge of fellow collectors.

That Wagner would be a nice card if it wasn't a T206 and had four borders but I guess I'm too picky, that's probably why I do not have one.........

John,

nice card. So there is no mistake, I messed up in quoting his section. This is John's card(or to be)

No. I spent much of the night helping my daughter with homework and then dealing with an issue regarding going to another church with friends...was going to write something, and came out as a sigh I guess.

By the way bigfish, really nice Kalamazoo and Gypsy Queen. OJ nice also. Quite a trio.

Resisted this card for years but the particularly strong (and of course unusual) yellow/orange split here was especially strong, and the centering sealed the deal.
