Default Is Kawicka or something like that still around?

He was a Net-54er who lived in Hawaii then moved to Canada....odd choice....never heard from him after he left the Islands.

He had some amazing pieces.

David is still alive and well! Not only did I see him at the net54 Shindig, I had an opportunity to view his Smoky Joe Wood painting freshly off Graig Kreindler's easel.

Smoky Joe looked spectacular!

David,
If you get a chance to check in, it was a genuine pleasure meeting you!
Best,
Scott

I met David for the first time in Hawaii a few years ago and had breakfast with him in Baltimore at the National. He is a great guy! He posts here on net54 once in a while... I will send him a PM to tell him you were asking about him....

Greetings, Net54sters.
The move from Hawaii to Canada last year knocked me on my butt. All the exigencies and pilikia of moving across an ocean and an international border have made the hobby take a back seat. Still lurk on the site to see all the perty baseball cards and to keep up with who is beating the crap out of whom.
Was a real pleasure to meet up with all you fellows in Baltimore.

That Joe Wood artwork is off the charts, had the pleasure of meeting Dave & Graig at the National.
And Dave stopped by last Monday for a visit and to pick up the Joe Wood photo that I sent to Graig, not knowing that it was for David.
Graig did his magic and the piece is fantastic.

Had a wonderful visit w/ David showing him the Gettysburg battlefields as well as some Eddie Plank hangouts.

Here's David w/ the before & after Joe Wood's

like - BTW... Looking good Mr. Public. Of course, anytime one is flanked by a Kreindler masterpiece, you can't help but look good!

Kawika or a good looking apparition of Ten Million has recently been seen haunting the Georgia Strait.

That's him! I would recognize him anywhere with that finger split on his left pinky!

That picture is amazing! It makes it so you don't even notice the spilled beer can on the table. Maybe I should get one ....
