If you want to truly know what constitutes "fine art", get your wife or girlfriend or otherwise get a female to give her opinion. It is widely known that men have exceptionally bad taste

I've known plenty of females with terrible taste in art!!!!!

Either way...mass produced baseball cards will never be considered "fine art!"

They're super cool...and can be quite beautiful...imo.

Maybe an original painting used to create a card...or a type I photo whose image was used on a card...might be considered "fine" art?

But cards? NO!!!!!

I suppose we will agree to disagree on this point.

Cards are not only artistic but also very visceral . Man they bring back memories and to me this is what art is all about.

Most of my collection are some of my favorite pieces of art as well. I'm glad you brought that up or I may not have noticed. I just naturally gravitated toward these pieces for my collection...

Didn't/don't some artists produce prints of their original works to distribute/sell to the public that are thus mass produced, at least in a limited sense, as well?
