Default What are these 1961 Post full sheets worth? Twins (Stobbs), Braves, Giants, Dodgers

I've owned these 10 card sheets for many years and have never gotten a good feel for their worth. They are a bit of a pain to store so I'm considering selling them, but first I need a better idea on value.

I saw the complete Twins sheet sold on eBay for $1,500 (best offer) and the Braves full sheet went for $750 (best offer).

There's a Dodgers full sheet available right now for $1,500.

REA sold a full set of all 16 sheets for $9,000.

I'd appreciate any feedback/guidance.

Thanks,
Eric

Default 61 Sheets

You sheets that contain a couple of variations and a couple of cards that did not appear on box backs only these sheets:

Chuck Stobbs on the Minnesota sheet appeared only on the sheet. Also, all team names on the sheet are "Minnesota". All players on box backs have the team listed as "Minneapolis"

Eddie Mathews on the Milwaukee sheet appeared only on the sheets. Also Frank Bolling while on the Braves sheet is an update. He was traded to the Braves and appears on the sheet while he is part of the Detroit Tigers on the box backs. cards.

Harvey Kueen appears on the Giants sheet as an update. He was traded from the Indians and was part of the Indians on the box backs.

You will note the traded lines on Bolling and Kueen. The lines only appeared on the sheet cards. The sheets were available through a mail order promotion by Post.

It should be noted that the Stobbs card is somewhat difficult to obtain. It is believed that the Twins sheets were not in as much demand as the established teams. This would be due to the team just moving from Washington DC to Minneapolis. (Also denoted on the bottom of each card on the sheet.)

Mathews is also somewhat difficult, however is more available due to the popularity of the Braves at the time. (Many stars, recent World Series appearances)

Hope this helps.
