Default Topps Rookie Stars Trivia

I've done a bunch of these in the past and they always seem well received. Don't think you can check the internet for the answers; you'll need to look through your collection to answer some of these. All questions pertain to Postwar Topps cards (pre 1980).
  1. To my knowledge, this is the only time two guys appeared together on Topps Rookie Stars cards in different sets. Name the guys and the sets.
  2. Good luck charm #1: Name the guy that appeared on two different Topps Rookie Stars cards (different years) with future MVP's. Also want the years and the MVP's.
  3. Good luck charm #2: Name the guy that appeared on two different Topps Rookie Stars cards (different years) with that season's Rookie of the Year. Want the cards and players involved.
  4. Good luck charm #3: Name the guy that appeared on two different Topps Rookie Stars cards (different years), one with that season's Rookie of the Year, another with a future MVP. Want the cards and players involved.
  5. Name the guy that appeared on a Topps Rookie Stars Card 19 years (!!) before his brother appeared on his first regular issue Topps card.

Hi,

#1 is Darrell Osteen & Lee May 1966 & 1967

#3 is Marv Staehle: 1966 White Sox w/ Tommie Agee & 1969 Pilots w/ Lou Piniella.

#5- the closest I got was Phil Roof (1964) and Gene Roof (1982) - 18 yrs.

Jeff

4. This is the one you are likely looking for, 1964 John Herrnstein with Richie Allen (ROY) and 1963 John Herrnstein with Willie Stargell (MVP).

With apologies to Cliff Bowman, I missed the John Scott and Ed Armbrister cards. They weren't the cards I was looking for but pretty cool that there are more than one answers.
  1. Jeff Alcorn: Correct '66 & '67 Reds Rookies Darrell Osteen and Lee May;
  2. Rookie Stars appearances with 2 future MVP's: John Herrenstein ('63 with Stargell & '64 w/ Dick Allen). Cliff Bowman's answer also apparently correct (John Scott with Jim Rice and Andre Dawson).
  3. Jeff Alcorn correct Rookie Stars appearances w/ RoY winners: Marv Staehle w/ Tommie Agee & Lou Pinella. Cliff Bowman apparently correct w/ Ed Armbrister (Fred Lynn & Bake McBride).
  4. Rookie Stars appearances w/ RoY & MVP: Looking for Tom Paciorek (1971 Baylor & 1973 Gary Mathews). Cliff Bowman's answer also correct (Armbrister, McBride & Lynn);
  5. Jeff Alcorn correct however Phil Roof also on '63 Rookie Stars card and his brother Gene Roof RC in 1982.

Can't believe I blew the 1963 Phil Roof. Great quiz, thanks a lot.
