Default 6 degrees of Jimmy Ryan

Posted By: john/z28jd

I always thought Jimmy Ryan was hall of fame worthy. He put up some great career numbers that have stood thru the test of time.He still ranks 30th all-time in runs scored,a .306 career average(with 11 .300+ seasons),just over 2500 hits and still ranks in the top 80 all-time in doubles, triples and stolen bases.

Anyway, despite the low condition,i was happy to put together my 3rd different player set of Old Judge poses finally this last week. So without further blah blah'n from me here is a scene from the silent movie "when a game with no umpires goes wrong" starring Jimmy Ryan

scene 1 is Jimmy pitching, scene 2 Jimmy is batting and says the pitch is too high, scene 3 hes the catcher(notice how far back he mustve been standing) and he disagrees as he throws the ball back to pitcher Ryan in scene 4,scene 5 pitcher Ryan decides he didnt like the call and hes keeping the ball and leaving, scene 6 Jimmy decides to wait for someone else to come along to play.....sadly,night falls before that happens.
