Default Current Auction

Just a note to tell the board that my current auction is about to begin in a couple of days. Closing date is September 23, 2004. My website www.sloateauction.com should launch on September 6, and catalogs will be sent out tomorrow. There's loads of great vintage material and there should be something for everyone- well not literally everyone, that would be impossible, it's just an expression- but there should be enough vintage cards to keep many of you busy for the next few weeks. If you are not already on my mailing list you may register beginning September 6 by calling 718-855-7513 or emailing me at bsloate@att.net. Looking forward to hearing from you all then. Have a safe holiday weekend. Regards, Barry Sloate

I can't wait to get the catalog and pay reduced premiums for better quality lots than most auctions. Thanks for the heads up on your auction Barry! JC

It's funny that I see this posting. I just found his auctions on the internet a few days ago and was wanting to the bidding to begin. I watch a ton of auctions so to find a new one is a nice bonus for me. Can't wait to watch another auction and see what he has to offer.

i think the best thing about the sloate auction this time around is the abundance of collector material. you dont have to have an auction filled with 10,000 dollar lots for it to be a great auction

I won the Scrapps Dan Brouthers card. Pretty happy with that as it is my first Scrapps card and my first Brouthers card.
