They really don't. His ability to be an authority figure and friendly at the same time was admirable and rare.

My guess is also Ken Jennings. Alex made a remark a couple of weeks ago when Ken was giving a video category clues...he said "I feel like someone is looking over my shoulder". He said it in a nice way, but I think it was a way for him to say that Ken would be taking over. I will miss Alex a lot. I used to watch the original Jeopardy with Art Flemming and didn't think I would like Alex as much, but he proved me wrong. R.I.P. Alex, and thanks for many years of entertainment and enjoyment. My wife and I will miss you!

They had already decided that...it will be Ken Jennings.
