Default Mays and McCovey Auto Help

Hey guys. Got these yesterday and am wondering if anyone has an opinion on authenticity. McCovey looks good to me but I don't know about the Mays. Any chance it's real? Looks different from anything I've ever seen previously.
Any opinions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony

They are pre-printed.

That was my first thought but when I looked up examples of those PC's I didn't see any with signatures.

It has the characteristics of a rubber stamp where the stamp was not fully inked or not enough pressure was applied. There are those spaces in the middle of the letters where there should be no space. See the "B" and "W". You can see it in several other letters. Extra ink in the transition from the "e" to the "s" in wishes which would not happen when you are writing. Look at the "h". Large part of the up loop is missing. You would see some of those features with a fountain pen which this is not.

That's some nice analysis.

Thank you for the kind words Joe D. and Tony. The extra ink and gaps in the letters are the two things I focus on when I look at items like this. You will also see those characteristics on the stamped baseballs.
