Is this ring real or a fake?

The picture on the top is the ring from the current auction and the ring in the middle was from an auction back in 2006. Notice the color difference in the center stone. Im not sure if it is just camera angle or what. Also the picture of the stamp is from the one in the auction. Does the stamp look right?

This is not the player's all star ring version.

I can't imagine someone would go through the effort and expense of replicating this ring.

The flash and lighting can make a huge difference in the top colors being different.

I am not positive if the stamping is good but I do not see anything suspicious about it.

10K and 14K gold is readily available to any jeweler, and can easily be used ot make a fake ring, but the metal used in this ring is exclusively used by Balfour.

I doubt someone would go to the trouble to make a non gold ring and stamp it with the Balfour name and one of their exclusive metal compounds.

I believe the ring is fine.
