Default Is Payton Manning's Quest For a Second Super Bowl ring over?

Do you guys think that Payton will retire? Or keep trying to win that second Super Bowl ring?

If he does retire, his winning Super Bowl ring collection will total one piece.

That lone, gorgeous Championship ring, shown below, is from his playing days with the Colts. The other two rings shown are from is two AFC championships (given to players when they loose the Super Bowl).

I think it depends on how injured he is. He played great the beginning of the year, at the end I knew something was off (I mean why would they suddenly switch to a running game). I personally think he may come back and if he does, there is always that chance of them winning it- they do have a strong team.

Default Manning

hopefully he retires--If he comes back he will steal the worst QB in the league monicker from Geno Smith. I know he is competitive but those last few weeks i have never seen a player go downhill as fast.

He may only have one ring, but he has $150m in the bank. Seriously, I think he's done with the coaching changes in Denver. Plus a lot of his weapons are free agents this year. It's time to pass the touch and enjoy retirement. Don't become like a Favre and keep playing past your prime.

He was a top 4 qb in the league. 4th qb rating, 2nd pass tds, 4th pass yards. He was playing hurt at the end of the season. If he is healthy, I see no reason why he doesn't come back. The Broncos were the #2 seed, they could easily make the Super Bowl with a healthy Peyton.
