Default December Pickups

Ok, let's see what us collectors are getting this month!

I will start off.....

I am having a very unusual month in terms of activity. Sometimes the acquisitions dry up and I get nothing for months.

Each of these 4 rings are player rings, and the last two rings, from the Giants most recent super bowl is an interesting situation. Although I did not get the rings directly from the player, he knows I have the rings and would like to buy them back from me.

That's a tough call, I got them fair and square and I hope he does not blow a stack when he realizes what these rings sell for in the market place.

I was able to pick up a Player's 2005 White sox ring, made by Jostens in 14K gold.

Michael,
This is a VERY interesting situation. Since this post, has the player been in contact with you? Does the player think he should get the rings back at no cost simply because they WERE his?

We agreed to have a conversation in about 3 months (I guess one month is now behind us).

This happens more often than most people would think.

I'm very intrigued. As someone else stated in another of your threads, I'm not able to afford the types of rings you purchase, but I am very interested in what you've posted.
