Maybe we should call a spade a spade and say it was a mistake?

When I make a mistake I say I made a mistake. That said, TPG's aren't good at admitting their mistakes from what I have seen. But hey, you can always get your money back for the grading fee. What a phenomenal gesture and guarantee! LOL

BTW, anyone that doesn't think it's trimmed needs more experience. I am wrong many times but not this time.

Look at those sharp corners! Graders love that over other parts of the card like being fully sized. Now playing Devils advocate, maybe someone cracked the holder (if possible) and inserted a different card. A lot of my collection is not graded and I do not know about how strong all TPG holders are.

I was going to say, maybe they forgot to put in the "hand cut" designation............but then I clicked on the other thread, and saw that somebody else made the same crack two years ago, and realized, maybe I'm not as original and funny as I thought I was.

I bought that card from a Goodwin auction in 2014 - it was part of a 3 card E220 lot. The other two were pictured, and that one wasn't. The cards came, I saw that, and they went straight back to Goodwin. Wish it was taken out of circulation at that time.

I probably shouldn't show PSA these E220 cards, because then they might realize that cards from this set can actually have borders.

Maybe PSA thought the card came with a coupon, so its ok to give a numerical grade. Zeenuts come to mind. Many times, PSA will grade a complete zeenut coupon card lower (if the coupon part has creases or bad corners), where you just need to cut the coupon off and recieve a higher grade.
