Default N370 Lone Jacks

How desirable are these? I barely ever see them come up for sale but would like to add one of the Brown's Champs Lone Jacks to my collection.

Would love to hear about them!

All the Lone Jacks are Brown's Champs; it's a thirteen card set that is identical to the N172 subset, except for the words Lone Jack added at the bottom. They are rare and very desirable.

Lone Jack is one of the rarest 19th baseball tobacco issues, though you will see one in auction every once in a while.

Thanks everyone for the info...

So were these made in the same year as Old Judge's or the year before as I see some slabbed as 1886 while OJs are slabbed as 1887

Bruce- as you may remember that was one of a group of six I had at the time. You don't see that today.

More often than not they are found with light photos. One with good contrast is a prize. Is it possible they got the negatives from Goodwin after they were clearly well used?
