Default Is this the going rate for an E90-1 Jackson?

Posted By: Josh A.

I came across this auction tonight, and the price looked kind of high. I wanted the expert opinions from this board.
Thanks guys,
Josh

That's cool. Thanks for the input. I don't have alot of knowledge about this issue, are there any publications I could read to gain some insight?

Thanks,
Josh

Publications? Not really. I have been following this card in general with particular interest (obsession). If you have not looked at Pete's site, that is a great start. http://www.caramel-cards.com/

As far as what the going rate is for the cards and gaining a handle on that, you just have to follow the auctions and ebay sales.

2600 and a VG ungraded Matty Horizontal. I did give the buyer three months to pay.

It did have two very bad top corners and some light glue residue on the back (all the print was legible). I know that in major auctions, PSA 1's go for a little over $3k with the juice.

I put a bid in the first day of the auction that was right around $3k, including the juice - it didn't last long!

Buyer really wanted it. Not only did he keep hitting it until he hit the reserve but he had his high bid of 3500 backed up. Could be a case where one person just wanted it that badly. Will never know if his bids blocked out any other underbidders.

This price is discouraging for me.
don't think I'll ever be lucky enough to possess this card at this point.

$3500 for a PSA 1 is just way too expensive for me too. Caramel cards are just getting out of hand. Even lower grade commons from easier sets like the E90-1 and E93 sets are costing an arm and a leg these days.

That psa 1 did look like a fair card to me though...or at least i'll pretend so that I can hang on to my hopes of scoring one some day.
Maybe we should split one wesley!....nah.

Sounds good. I'd like to have the top portion with the red mustache.

not worth it, i can't believe the owner actually kinda got his money back since 3.5k was how much he paid for it.
