Default Booker McDaniels photos and cards

Hi guys,

I'm working on a short educational youtube video about Negro league pitcher Booker McDaniels who played with the Kansas City Monarchs in 1940s. He also pitched in the Mexican League and in the Pacific Coast League with the Los Angeles Angels.

I'm looking for images to use in the video. By some off chance, does anybody have any photos of McDaniels or images of the Monarchs during the 1940s that might relate to McDaniels? Or perhaps images relating to the Mexican League during the 1940s?

I'm also interested in finding decent scans of McDaniels 1945-46 Caramelo card and his 1949 Toleteros card. It's rare, but he also had a 1949 Los Angeles Angels team issue card. If anybody have any of these and would be willing to let me use a scan of them in the video, please let me know.

Thanks,
Caleb Hardwick

I've got several 1940's Monarch photos of players but I don't think Booker shows up in them, although I don't know if I could identify him if he was.

You can look through the photos at this link to see if you recognize him anywhere: http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=198084

Could this be him on far right?

Rob,

It's hard to say from the photo if the player is McDaniels. Still, I might be interested in using this photo, as well as the photo of Blues Stadium. Is it possible to obtain scans of these image for use in the video?

Thanks,
Caleb

That's fine. PM me and I can email you some higher quality scans.
