I wouldn't trade my collection for any of those.

It's really a thought-provoking question. My entire collection, of any value anyway, amounts to:

1970-1971; 1973 - 2021 Topps: Complete set run (base set and traded / updates & highlights) [working on 72 now]
1969 Topps: Reggie Jackson
1968 Topps: Nolan Ryan, Johnny Bench
1967 Topps: Tom Seaver, Rod Carew
1965 Topps: Steve Carlton
1963 Topps: Willie Stargell
1962 Topps: Lou Brock, Roger Maris
1961 Topps: Mickey Mantle, Juan Marichal
1960 Topps: Willie McCovey, Carl Yastrzemski
1959 Topps: Bob Gibson
1958 Topps: Roger Maris
1957 Topps: Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Jim Bunning
1956 Topps: Mickey Mantle, Jackie Robinson, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron
1955 Topps: Roberto Clemente, Sandy Koufax, Harmon Killebrew
1954 Topps: Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, Al Kaline, Willie Mays, Jackie Robinson, Ted Williams (#1 and #250)
1953 Topps: Satchell Paige
1952 Topps: Complete low number set, plus about 30 high numbers including Jackie, Mathews, Wilhelm, Campanella, Dickey, Nuxhall, and Reese
1941 PlayBall: Joe Dimaggio
1933 Goudey: Lou Gehrig #92, Jimmie Foxx #29, Dizzy Dean, Mel Ott #207, Bill Dickey
1921 American Caramel: Rogers Hornsby
T206: Ty Cobb (red), Walter Johnson (portrait), Christy Mathewson (dark cap), Tris Speaker, Nap Lajoie (with bat)

All singles are lower to mid-grade. If someone were to come to me with a numerically graded 52 Topps Mantle with decent eye appeal, I would certainly consider pulling the trigger.

My rationale is that I have yet to been able to save enough cash to afford the Mantle, and I don't know if I have the discipline to ever be able to do so. But, I was able to acquire the cards listed above, and it would be fun to do it again

Exactly. I would add that any time i checkoff a big wantlist item…the focus is on the next one.

I dont have a ton of cards but I’d move all of my Cobbs for a t205 Cobb in a 7 or a t206 in a 7-8. I’d even consider moving it all for a Jackie 48 Leaf in a 7.
