FS: Joe DiMaggio Type 1 56th Game Streak Photo - Final Hit of Streak
Hi All,
I have for sale an extremely tough photo to track down. I have never seen another Type 1 come up for sale since I bought mine. This is a Type 1 original photo taken at the exact moment Joe DiMaggio extended his hitting streak to 56 games. You can do some Googling and confirm this is indeed THE pitch DiMaggio extended his now legendary streak. He did get one other hit in the game but that hit didn't set the record. This one did. I purchased this photo from RMY years ago and it comes with a full LOA from them attesting to it's Type 1 status. I do not think you will ever see another one. Priced to sell at $1,500.
