Default 1938/9 Photo Premiums

In the recent Lelands Auctions I purchased a group
of 3 x 5 real photos. Some are signed, some have printed script signatures. Various examples have been offered in the past few years. The photos are unique to this group and were
apparently taken in 1938 and 1939--Stengel is showns with Boston and with Brooklyn.
I'm attaching some scans--any shared information will be appreciated.
Be well
John Rumierz

I have nothing to add here, but just wanted to say that I think these photos are AWESOME! Congrats! I was watching the large lot at Leland’s, but just don’t have the dough to add another project. Great pick-ups though!

Amazing, these are as Snapshot-esque as you can get with a release. Which I'm a huge fan of.

My guess is they were distributed at the stadium somehow. Or mail in requests.

Love the Greenbergs. At that size, my guess is mailers. There is so much out there that we still do not understand.

Neat photo-cards, though maybe closer to photos..

When I first saw them they reminded me of these below, from my first collection.
I think I still have the quarter though!
