My office partner has a 1965 Cobra-keith Craft 482 Genisis, that has 596 Hsp. I won't ride in it anymore because he scared me to death last time. It is bad.

Nice car!

Excellent photo Marc. We did a camel ride as well and I was shocked at how much they smell if you pet them.

I also am part of the club that has stayed at The Peninsula in Hong Kong. I liked the message that comes on the TV screen when you shut it off at night so much that I even took a photo. I also think "The Peak" in HK has one of the most stunning views of any major city I have ever been to.

A few days ago I got to hang out with the hardware that the local 9 picked up this past baseball season. Yes....It's the real 2007 World Series Trophy. Very Cool!

Cool pics of the pyramids in the background. I still can't believe people think humans built those things. It averages out to setting down 1 block every 2 or 3 minutes for 20 or 30 years. Those slabs weigh thousands of tons each. They line up with true north and match star constellations. Aparently the pyramids line up exactly with Orions belt and the sphinx lines up with Leo at the same time in 10500 B.C :s Precisely what Edgar Cayce predicted too. I;ve always wanted to visit Egypt and see the pyramids and the sphinx

i guess if EVERYONE else jumps off a bridge, I should too ...

Me, my 10 month old son Torin, and wife Kristina. Taken just a couple weeks ago when we cut down our xmas tree. If she only knew how much I actually spent on cards ...

Mike and Jon,
You guys are really lucky to have stayed at the Penninsula. It has the best skyline view of any hotel I have ever been to. When I look out the window of my apartment, I just get a crap view of my neighbor's laundry line. But hey, less rent means more cards!

Hey, Mike. I just could not help but marvel at the fact that we both stood on the same bridge, with our wives, in September of this year. Only difference is I waited for the clouds to clear and I didn't stand in front of the camera to block the great view!

PS: A few days later I struggled to keep the Leaning Tower of Pisa from leaning too far.

Have a great Holiday Season,
Lyman

great thread, awesome pics, everyone!

not to beat a dead horse, but as mentioned above several times, hong kong is an amazing city, and is a great trip to do as your "first" destination in Asia...it really impresses.

p.s. how about the Felix Lounge on top of the Peninsula? pretty sick!

Felix Lounge huh? Haven't been there but I'll definitely check it out. You're right, the city is awesome, but I feel like I'm gonna miss most of the bowl season... which is terrifying.

Lyman - that photo is great....
you are holding up the tower perfectly!

very cool that another guy in the background is taking a similar photo.
(he isn't as strong as you... he needs to use two hands.)

edit: Jeff L. - I think that makes you part Italian. I am pretty sure thats how it works.

"You're right, the city is awesome, but I feel like I'm gonna miss most of the bowl season... which is terrifying."

Justin- if i were you, i'd take that a once in a lifetime experience (spending extended time in Hong Kong), over "bowl season" anyday...

soak-up every minute while you're there...

p.s. i took a similiar "Leaning Tower of Pisa" photo 10 years ago, while i was studying architecture in Rome...i've also taken pics "holding" the Glass Pyramids at the Louvre...it's always fun taking pics like that.

Best-
MS

Haven't met any of you (even Dan, who lives just 50 miles away), but for the most part, no one looks anything like the mental images I had of any of you. Most are quite a bit younger.

I must say all the guys here have very nice wives and girlfriends...it just goes to prove that card collectors are indeed chick magnets...

Here's my mug shot by my ex girlfriend in the kitchen...

This thread is proof ---
good looking women are attracted to vintage card collectors.

reading all of the posts all year long...
I am certain it is not our personalities , it must be the cards they are attracted to.

(insert Johnson joke here)

This was from my screen test from a few years back when
the search was on for a co-host replacement for Kathy Lee.
As you now know, I didn't get the gig.

2. BcD, do you mean "lean-on" ???
