Default After almost 62 yrs

I just now, a few minutes ago, disconnected my landline. I haven't even been able to pick it up for about a year as I have no landline phones that work ....
I just couldn't pull the trigger for years. I have never not had one.
Now, today, it's done. Please don't call my old landline number anymore
.

I broke down a couple of years ago. The transition was smooth & have no regrets.

Great, I still haven't. I am probably the only person in the world without a cell phone. I make very few calls and get even less. I keep it because every company wants to know your phone #.

It was around 50 dollars a month. But, like I said, I heard it ring but all of my landline-cordless phones have been dead for about a yr. And I only averaged a few calls on it, a year, for many years before that.

we were gonna install a landline for our kids to call 911, but then our landlord sold the house. so this will have to wait a little bit longer.

There is a benefit for having a Land Line. If a medical emergency, personnel know where you are exactly from your call location. Not so with a call put thru to a Cell tower causing delay.

Make sure your Cell Phone is always handy and charged if you don't have a landLine.

I'm 40 this year and once I left home at 18 and lived on my own I've only ever had a cell phone. So for the past 22 years I've only ever had a cell phone, I've never had a landline in my adult life.

Ditto. 19 years and counting....until I get one for child safety reasons as stated above.
