I'd love to get one too! Although if one has never shown up after all these years, I doubt two will...you know he's not in the set, right Eric?

Default In hindsight....

I should have opened the book before i assumed it existed. How about Hugh Dailey or a Delehanty Players League instead?

I asked that guy who makes the Helmar cards about making a card of One-Arm, so maybe you will get your wish! Would've been nice if they made PL cards for every team in the league. Then again, it wouldn't be so cool owning a few of them if they were so much more common

Shouldn't you be using a Piano Legs Gore card for that?

While your post should elicit a snicker or two from the immature, you should be ashamed for the possible misleading that is associated with the pronunciation of Pud Galvin's nickname. It was bestowed upon him due to his love for pudding, which means his name is Pud as in rhyming with "good", not "dud"

For shame, Kevin!

Default I Forgot...

...what a high-brow crowd we have here. Where is Marshall Barkman III when we really need him!

I did play the perfect straight man to allow you to educate those that did not already know the proper pronunciation. Speaking of Pittsburgh players, will you also be expounding on the proper pronunciation of the Flying Dutchman's first name?

Dick Buckley should be thankful that I don't have one of his cards.

I don't mean to be rude but I don't think the B/S/T was designed for a thread like this with 17 replies, people are trying to buy, sell and trade cards here. Maybe move it to the main board.........
