I’m sure most are already aware of this variation, but figured I’d post just in case others were not aware.

I recently just discovered this variation as well and have been looking for a decent copy ever since.
If you have one that you are looking to move, please PM me.

Thanks.

Dave -- the Super set does list a lot of other variants most of which are easy to run down. They are recurring print defects for the most part. Some are background color variants, including

26 Irvin B brown/tan
54 Kiely B orange/beige
200 Houk white/pink
225 Baumholtz brown/tan

I have been able to run down the other print defects listed in the Super set checklist I posted above plus a few extras. Still short on the gray backs and doubt I will further pursue them

I am still undecided on what I'm doing with my main 52 set. But, if I do decide to part ways, I'll give you a crack at what I have. I'll be posting all my duplicates this weekend on here, which is roughly 210 low numbers. I'll try posting images of all, as they're currently in binder pages. Haven't checked through for these variations yet, so i may have more.

I just won this one the other night. Took a chance on the GAI grading, especially since it didn't read 1st graded, but I trusted the sellers comments, and it looked good to me.

Thank you.

Still debating whether to crack it when I receive it or leave it alone?

I'll likely have a month before I get it to decide but that scratch on the case bothers me, plus I'd like to measure it accurately by laying it on top/beside another 52.

It's got a slight diamond cut to it.
I think that's a good sign in re to possible trimming.
