technicality
When talking about sports cards, I never liked the term "raw". I prefer the term "ungraded". We're not talking about food here, we're talking about cardboard. Ungraded cards and graded cards.
Also, I prefer ungraded but I do collect graded because sometimes that's the only way I can find them. I will occasionally crack them out to fit in with my collection for uniformity though.
