Default Wade Boggs bat help

Need some bat help. Does this Boggs look to be game used? It has a 26 on each end what appears to be in same hand the 26 on the end is faint but covered up with either dirt or pine tar but the 26 on end looks similar to other game used bats I have seen authenticated. The bat measures 34 1/2 and weighs right at 32 oz maybe a hair over on my imperfect scale. There is pine tar on handle as well. Any thoughts either way? It is model M110 as well. Thanks Guys!!!

That is a index/pro model. It is nothing Wade ever touched. Wade only ordered that Model in 1977 and that bat is way newer than that.

As a guy with a decent Wade Boggs bat collection. I would pay around $35-$50 delivered for a bat like that for a value estimate.

I can't comment on why others listed it as Wade Boggs game used. What I can say is they are full of $hit IMHO.

Goldin specifically lists it as a pro stock. Mears sometimes gets grey in their descriptions, notice they say pro model used, not used by Boggs. Nobody really trusts BMI, and I don't have any clue who the last site is.

People trust the first 2 you listed.

Honestly I never read the descriptions because as soon as I seen the pic I knew they are not Wade Boggs game used.

I am far from an expert but I do collect Wade Boggs(my all time favorite player) bats.

MEARS is purposely deceptive.

I've brought items to their attention that could not be what they say they are, with explanations and never once heard back or seen an item pulled.

I don't think anyone trusts anyone anymore.

As Ben said, pro stock bat. It does have some use by someone, but that someone could be anyone.
Teammate, minor league kid, etc.
Boggs? Maybe, but you would have to photo match it to prove it; or have rock solid provenance. Still, a nice bat, and a great pickup for a Boggs fan if you can get it for the right price. Ben is a cheapskate; I would easily pay $75 for it. Lol.

It does have the correct number, but hey, when I was a kid, I marked my Mickey Mantle LS bat with a number 7 on the knob. And believe me, I was no Mickey Mantle.

Can't argue against facts I openly admit to.
