Default New to T206. Who all was born in NE?

Starting to collect T206 cards. Looking for Nebraska born Players. Anyone know who all was born in NE that's in the T206 set? I only know of Sam Crawford and Ted Easterly. These the only 2 players? Thank you for your help.

I doubt anyone knows this answer off the top of their heads. You're probably going to have to Google this yourself or Baseball Almanac maybe...

Sweet, thank you so much. Yeah, totally love this idea of collecting t206s from your own state.

I know a couple guys that have put together a collection of 1 card of each player born in the same state as them. Thats another option for you.

I did a quick scan on the list and Ike Rockenfeld also has a T206 card. But that raises an issue with the provided list. It only includes players who reached the majors. Minor leaguers in the T206 set who did not appear in the majors are not fully vetted. I expect you will need to look at those one by one using a resource such as Baseball Reference.

I only see Crawford, Easterly and Rockenfeld.

Default Minor leaguers

Does anybody have a list of T206 players who never appeared in the Major Leagues? Both the Baseball Reference list and the Baseball Almanac list do not cover the minor leaguers.

There may or may not be such a list (of T206 subjects that never played in majors), but Baseball Reference does show minor league information for players (there is a tab in a player's listing entitled 'Minor League Stats').

And thus, if nothing else you can check every T206 minor leaguer to see if they were born in Nebraska.

Brian

I'm a Hawkeye taking over this Husker thread it seems.

Finished my run of T206ers with Iowa ties with a bunch of beaters...(If there's somebody I'm missing, please let me know!)

Arghh... Damn you. Another Iowa list... More to buy. Wasn't going to grab the Iowa T206 players yet.

Default T207

If you add T207 to your list, you could get cards of Otto Miller and Les Nunamaker from NE.
