Default You just can't figure ebay out

Two days ago a very common M116 PSA 4 Murray went for $46 (to me) and yet on the same page a very difficult 300 Series Sweeney PSA 4 (not to be confused with the other Sweeney in the set which is a common) went for $28. I had the Sweeney and stepped aside for someone who needed it. My max was $27 but had my friend not sniped I would have had it for about $12. Incredible. Just can't figure ebay out sometimes....

no big mystery here; ebay is so vast a wasteland that a lot of whether something sells depends on whether someone stumbles on it.

Ebay is a somewhat free market .... they aren't easy to predict and are risky to rely on... "No risk no reward" has a flip side.

Part of it has to do with the fact that there are very few people working on the m116 set. If you are patient, you can get commons pretty cheap. I picked up an SGC 70 common for $12.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming --- WOW, What a ride!
