The OJ reprints are ready - 1st series of 24, all HOF'ers. Cards will come in a box of 24 with separate stat/bio sheets (2) (with crop marks for cutting and pasting to back of cards if desired);cards are back-stamped with brown or red designs. Price is $14.95 for the first series. I will create new series of 24 cards as demand dictates, probably raising the price a little for future series - it wouldn't be much. Future series will probably be by "theme" until themes run out: multi-player cards, spotted ties, stars, various team sets, etc.

Free samples: send SASE for free card samples and tiny flyer with pictures of cards/boxes. Email for my address if you are interested.

Keith, I can't give you a value, but old baseball lantern slides like that are rare and defintely worth holding onto. Their value doesn't near match their rarity, but it is worth something finacially.

I've seen several get sold on eBay and in person:

1) The most amazing deal I ever saw was a slide with two separate players against a white background: Lajoie and Wagner. The thing was in the wirng eBay category and went for $25 -- identified by the seller as featuring a batter and a bunter!! No, I got there too late, so it wasn't me who snared it.

BTW, the slide was made to accompany a sing-along that featured names of top players.

2) World series news slides have been sold a few times on eBay going between $50 and $125.

3) Two Babe Ruth slides were sold for approx $200 (each, I believe) by one dealer to another at an east coast show. The second dealer currently has 'em priced in the $400 - $500 range, if memory serves.

4) BTW, an entire "set" of MLBer slides is on display at the folk art museum in NYC, currently.

Hope that helps...
