3 days without power running my business and home on generators. A bright spot is the mail ran.

Heh, I recognize that...

"ice storm" is a phrase I will never have to use in SoCal. Just earthquake and wildfire.

"Mud slide", "soon to be Arizona Bay" and I could come up with more. Just kidding. I lived in SoCal for years and it was awesome. Book is mind candy!

To continue the daily log of farm life and mail runs..........Finished primer coat on the jon boat for my son and picked up two chicken carcasses from our friendly neighbor falcon. Then, got to the house and the mail woman came through again. I've purchased over 2500 pre war(primarily pre ww1) cards in the last 8 months. I basically get cards in the mail daily. Wish I would have documented from day one. Hope you enjoy. Trying to keep this forum a bit more active.

The booklet is part of the Benny Leonard exercise course. There are also PC sized cards issued of the various exercised and a portrait card 'autographed' by Leonard (facsimile of course). I have never seen the letter before.

"The Great Bennah". Two questions: 1. "Bennah" ? 2. Do you rank Leonard as the best, or second best lightweight of all time?

I suppose it is how a ring announcer would draw out his name: "the great bennaahhhh Leonard!"

I'll go with the 2005 IBRO verdict and say he was #1. Would've been a hell of a fight. I think he would have psyched out Duran the way Leonard did in their second fight. He was a hell of a trash talker in the ring.
