Default wwg ruth real or fake?

trying to get some information, and you guys are usually the best. I think its real except that white bleach spot on the back scares me, what is everyone else thinking?

Looks real from the scan but I am not an expert on knowing where to look for the telltale "reprint" obliteration.

what makes you guys not like it? is it the bleach spot on the back of the card?

That is what I was alluding to. Many times the reprints will have the word "reprint' or some other telltale word to denote they are not real and they have been scraped or erased off. I have owned a regular #144 (US) and that one looks similar except the wording, of course.

The fact that it is damaged on each and every spot that you can tell the fake from the original is a big flag. One main thing is the placement between his hat and the boarder - the spacing isn't proper.

I don't like the look of the wear on the front. The front surface looks fishy. I am not 100 percent sure but I would not sink 500ish into a card that looked like that. Just one opinion. Might just be the scan....

The seller of this card is actually a fairly well known dealer in Canada, so I would've guessed the card is good.
