Default Removing paint from a vintage pennant...

Hello,
I am currently considering purchasing a vintage pennant but it has a paint spot on it.

I was wondering if any of you have had success removing something like this from a pennant?

What do you guys think?

Hmm... that's tough, especially on that material. I'd first see if there were any simple things that could make it better, such as a lint brush (lightly). But I'd honestly avoid any type of cleaning as there is a good chance you'd make it worse with that type of material. Others may have had better success with these. I honestly don't think it looks that bad. These pennants are so often beat up and this one looks to be in good condition otherwise.

Agree with Marc... I would leave that one alone. It's really not that bad, and trying to "fix" it could definitely make it look worse.

It's probably original to the pennant, as it looks to be the same paint as the white graphics. Probably happened during the original silk screen transfer, and is not a deal-killer IMO. So I would not alter it, but perhaps others here feel differently.

Rather than trying to remove the paint, I might try to cover it with some brown dye or something similar.

I almost said in my message that I know what ooo-ribay would do

And it would have been exactly this.
