Default Nice card, but the shipping and handling......

Thought it might be a mistake, but he put it in the description as well. Interesting attention getter. It worked. To his credit, he does state in the title to read the description:

What a goofball. I'd never drop that kind of loot on someone running something that ridiculous. Maybe he's on the up and up, but that's totally absurd.

My guess is he is trying to avoid ebay fees---the card would sell for a few cents and the fee would be low, but he gets you with the shipping---Who knows---Maybe if it was a straight 8---

eBay charges based on the entire transaction amount. You can't skirt the fees by jacking up the shipping.

Correct. He thinks it's circa 2008 and that he's outsmarting eBay. Maybe he just came out of a coma...

How does he know the buyer isn't local? If I wanted it I'd have someone I know in Charlotte just pick it up to avoid the "shipping".
